My health is my top priority. I know that it is, but at the same time, it isn’t the only priority. I know that I can’t be perfect, and that I am not always as healthy as I could be.
I know that I can’t be perfect either. My health issues, while real and true, are not just theoretical. I just don’t have the time or the energy to be perfect, and I definitely don’t have the energy to be healthy.
For example, when I get sick, I can be at a hospital, in a lot of pain, and I can be in a lot of physical distress. I can walk and I can lift. And I can deal with it. What I don’t have is the time and the energy to deal with the pain and distress.
People always ask me about how I deal with my illness and my physical distress. It is true, I do sometimes feel the need to take my medication. But I also do not always feel the need to take my meds. For example, I once had a very severe migraine attack. I felt I needed to take my meds because my migraines were getting worse. It is true that I do not feel the time to take my meds when I feel that way.
This is an issue that’s particularly relevant to women. You may have noticed that I’ve been sharing a lot about my health in this article, even though I have a lot more to say about that. As a woman, I’ve been told by my doctor that I am not capable of being a “good mom” or “good wife” if I don’t take my meds.
The good news is that as I said earlier today, your body, your mind, and your emotions are all connected. They all work together as one, and that is how we can make sense of the world around us. This is true for all of us, and it is good to remember that, because as a society, we have the ability to heal ourselves, but it takes work and dedication.
